Soybean Variety : Monsoon has been sent to message through Indian Meteorological Department. Monsoon is going to enter the state soon. According to the revised forecast of the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will enter Kerala around June 1.

But if there is any problem in the monsoon travel, the arrival of monsoon in Kerala may be delayed till June 4. But if all goes well, monsoon will arrive in Kerala on June 1 and kokna on June 7. Due to this, there has been an increase in agricultural activities in Shetshiwar.

Phule Sangam :- KDS 726 of course Phule Sangam is a variety developed by Mahatma Phule Agricultural University. This breed is widely cultivated in the state. It is an old and advanced variety and yields in 110 to 120 days from this variety. According to the information given by some advanced farmers, they are getting up to 15 quintal per acre from this variety. But this variety should be sown only by the farmers who have good soil. This variety yields more in heavy land. But in light and medium soils, the expected yield is not obtained from this variety. Due to this, there is no problem in sowing this variety by the farmers who have heavy soil.

Flower Alchemy :- This was known as KDS 753. This variety is also developed by Mahatma Phule Agricultural University. A large number of farmers cultivate this variety across the state. It is a medium duration variety and the farmers get a yield of up to 15 quintal per acre from the variety. Farmers should do seed treatment before sowing this variety. It is advised to use 30 kg seed per acre to get good yield from this variety.

Green Gold 3444 :- This is also an improved variety of soybean. An average yield of 15 quintal per acre can be obtained from this variety if 30 kg of seed is used per acre. Farmers mention that if this variety is sown densely, good yield is obtained. This breed is widely cultivated in the state.
